Admar Supply Hosts Topcon Technology Road Show

Admar’s two-day event drew hundreds of contractors looking to find out about and try the new technologies available from Topcon.

SUNY Alfred brought students from Professor Mark Payne’s classes to the event both days. Jeff Moore of Parker Land Surveying in Oneida, N.Y., took a trip out to find out more about the new Robotic Transits from Topcon. Topcon’s Technology Roadshow trailer will make the rounds to more than 35 cities this summer. A beautiful day allowed for a great turnout at the event. Attendees were able to try out all the machines so they could actually see what the Topcon equipment could do for them. Attendees were able to see the latest technologies available from Topcon in the road show trailer. A Topcon 3DMC2 is demonstrated on a Liebherr 724 from Tracey Road Equipment. Paul Savos of Admar Supply used Topcon machine guidance on a John Deere 650K. Mike Kenealy of Associated Builders Contractors tries his luck on a Volvo EC160DL with the Topcon automated machine guidance. Live demonstrations were taking place both days so contractors could see and feel what the products could do. Topcon’s latest technology allows contractors to grade to within centimeters. On May 13 and 14, 2015, Admar Supply hosted the Topcon Technology Road Show. Admar’s two-day event drew hundreds of contractors looking to find out about and try the new technologies available from Topcon. Attendees were able to test many of the technologies that are available to help them with their products.

Topcon Technology Road Shows will be held in 35 locations across the country this summer.
