Biltmore General Contractors took delivery of the first Magni RTH 5-35 to reach the shores of the United States.

“Our current job site is extremely tight for space. The RTH 5-35 has the ability to sit stationary and perform its job lifting brick, mortar and more to many scaffold locations. Operating our slewing work platform from the platform enables our men to be against the building and reach a 180 foot span without an operator in the cab. Also being equipped with a radio remote control allows our operator / supervisor to be on the scaffold controlling the production all while delivering all the needed materials.”

“With the attachments and the capabilities this machine offers us, we are very sure we will complete this and other jobs way ahead of schedule. Needless to say this will result in savings of labor, fuel and the cost of renting other machines. Preliminary numbers show us that we made an excellent decision to purchase a Magni,” said Calcaterra.

The Magni Combi-Touch system gives the operator the option to use a touch screen or a joystick to control the machine’s operations and functions on five screens. Watching the operation screen lets the operator clearly see where his load is at all times, all while displaying the boom height, the radius and the amount being lifted.
