The Ohio Contractors Association (OCA), a business and trade association supporting Ohio’s heavy highway and utility industry, held its 30th Annual Winter Conference at the Hilton Columbus at Easton in Columbus, Ohio, on Dec. 3rd and 4th.

The conference started off with a full day of events including a number of sessions and meetings covering topics such as industry related environmental issues, workplace safety, equipment management, transportation market and ODOT updates.

The first day of the day and a half event was capped off with an associate member sponsored reception in a banquet area where members spoke with and gathered information from the Ohio equipment dealers and product and service providers that had table top displays throughout the area.

The second day of the event included the association’s annual business meeting featuring a talk by Jeff Shoaf, senior executive director, congressional relations, The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC). The meeting was followed by a brunch and awards ceremony.
