Coble Trench Safety has relocated its Charleston, S.C., location, serving the metropolitan area and the surrounding regions with rentals, sales, service and training of underground safety equipment.

Having experienced a tremendous response to its opening, the Charleston location seeks to establish a more centralized location to better serve and facilitate working relationships with the contractors in the metropolitan area.

“We feel we can be of service to the contractors and municipalities that are dealing with these safety issues on a daily basis,” President Tom Coble said. “Simply put, we’re in the business of saving time, money and lives for our customers.”

The new branch will be located at 7615 Southrail Road, North Charleston, S.C., providing contractors a convenient, accessible location for their trench and traffic safety needs. Randy Rooker has been promoted and will manage the Charleston operation for CTS.

“We are fortunate to have Randy heading up our Charleston location,” said Coble. “His determination and hard work have proven invaluable as we have built a presence in the Charleston market. We look forward to great things from the Charleston market under Randy’s leadership in 2009.”

In addition, Tom Coble has reaffirmed Coble Trench Safety’s expansion plans despite the economic burdens confronting many businesses in the current environment. In maintaining the objective of building a network of trench and traffic safety branches, CTS plans to open at least one branch location in the spring of 2009 with one to two other new branch operations in the second half of 2009 and additional branches to follow.
