Company Wrench held a grand opening to celebrate its new location in Columbia, S.C. The day included a continental breakfast, followed by a barbecue lunch. The event also included raffle door prizes.
Attendees had the opportunity to bid on a Kobelco SK35SR-6E mini-excavator to support The Wounded Warrior Project. Proceeds more than $25,000 from the auction will support injured service members through the 20 programs and services provided by WWP that are uniquely structured to nurture the mind and body, and encourage economic empowerment and engagement. More than 52,000 servicemen and women have been injured in the recent military conflicts. In addition to the physical wounds, it is estimated as many as 400,000 service members live with the invisible wounds of war including combat-related stress, major depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Through this auction, the company is helping WWP work toward their vision of fostering the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation’s history.
