Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter named Michael (Mike) Bennett as chairman of the board effective Jan. 1, 2011. Bennett is responsible for all chapter activities to further merit-based construction throughout eastern Pennsylvania.

Bennett is vice president of estimating for E. Allen Reeves Inc., a full service construction manager and general contractor serving Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland based in Abington, Pa. The firm focuses primarily on private institutional clients and facilities. Reeves has been in business since 1918 and an active ABC member for 50 years.

“It’s an honor to lead a group so committed and passionate about excellence in the construction industry,” Bennett said. “My goal as chairman is to build on the rich tradition of education, training, safety, networking, business development and political involvement to help our members prosper in a challenging economy.”
