JCB of Florida and South Georgia was named “Best New Dealer of 2010” by JCB Inc. at ConExpo. The award was presented at a JCB dealer event by JCB Chairman and CEO John Patterson to Alex MacKinnon, vice president and owner of JCB of Florida and South Georgia.

JCB of Florida and South Georgia became a JCB construction equipment dealer in March 2010. The dealer has been recognized for its performance in improving market share, branding and training participation.

MacKinnon accepted the award on behalf of his entire team.

“This is quite an honor to be recognized amongst so many new dealers,” said MacKinnon. “It has been a rewarding year for our team who has worked so hard to learn about this new product line and market. We’re very optimistic about what the future holds for us and JCB.”

This was not the first recognition for outstanding performance for the equipment dealer. The company’s industrial division, Yale Lift Trucks of Florida & Georgia was named “Dealer of Excellence” for the fifteenth time in 2010.

“Our goal is to become the Dealer of Excellence for JCB by further growing our market share and providing the highest level of service for our customers,” MacKinnon stated.
