Attendees of the Milton CAT Demofest in Batavia, N.Y., on Oct. 16 had the chance to get behind the controls of a variety of heavy equipment, including wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, mini-excavators, compact track loaders and trucks. In the demonstration area, Milton CAT created typical job site situations, including mountains of mulch, enormous cubes of concrete and heavy timber. Operators hauled, dumped, scraped and flattened materials all afternoon.

Skids steers and bulldozers drew attention with the attendees, which included landscapers, roofers, construction crews and municipalities. Homemade chili and country music greeted guests in the reception tent. Milton CAT held drawings for various prizes including credit bonuses.

The goal of the festival was to introduce a medium size user to the world of Milton CAT machinery.
