More than 1,500 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Pittsburgh, Pa., on Nov. 6.

Bidders came from 40 countries, including 49 U.S. states. More than 68 percent of the equipment was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as Hong Kong, Venezuela, Mexico and Nigeria. Online bidders purchased 46 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).
