National Trench Safety LLC (NTS), a Houston-based company specializing in the rental and sales of trench and traffic safety equipment, trench and traffic safety engineering and OSHA-compliant training classes, announced the relocation of its Burlington, N.C., operation.

The new location will be approximately 2 mi. from Interstate 40/85 in Burlington and features a 12,000 sq. ft. (1, 114.8 sq m) building on 3 acres.

“The new Burlington location will be a first class facility,” said Ron Chilton, president of NTS. “We’ve seen a steady increase in business since we hired Steve Brinkley as branch manager in April and needed to upgrade our location to service our growing customer base.”

In addition to being a full service rental and sales operation, the Burlington location will continue to be one of National Trench Safety’s strategically located manufacturing and repair centers.

“Regional manufacturing and repair facilities are a key part of our business model,” said Chilton. “With the role our equipment plays in protecting the lives of construction workers, it’s very important customers know that our equipment always meets or exceeds manufacturer specifications. These regional repair and manufacturing facilities are specifically designed to not only make repairs to any damaged and or worn equipment, but they also fabricate new, engineered, “site specific” equipment to meet individual customer needs.”

NTS currently has 23 branch locations throughout the United States. NTS operates in Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas and Utah.
