More than 2,400 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction Aug. 28 in North East, Md.

Bidders came from more than 40 countries, including 48 U.S. states. More than 85 percent of the equipment was sold to buyers outside the state, from as far away as Australia, Bolivia, Malaysia and the United Kingdom. Online bidders purchased more than 37 percent of the equipment sold (based on gross auction proceeds).
