More than 3,500 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Houston, Texas, on Nov. 20 and 21.

Bidders came from 64 countries, including 49 U.S. states. More than 50 percent of the equipment was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as Egypt, Hong Kong and Peru. Online bidders purchased more than 40 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).

In total, more than 3,500 equipment items were sold in the auction, including crawler tractors, excavators, articulated dump trucks, skid steer loaders and more.
