SANY America has named Tar Heel Machinery its excavator dealer in North Carolina.

Tar Heel Machinery, founded in 2005 by Penn McMichael and Scott Woody, has locations in Charlotte, Raleigh and Reidsville, N.C. The company sells, rents and services heavy equipment, including excavators, articulated haulers, crawler carriers, wheel loaders and crawler dozers.

Additional models will be introduced in North America in the coming year. SANY excavators feature low overall owner operating costs, ease of operation, low operating noise and solid excavator performance.

Teague said the appointment of Tar Heel Machinery is part of an aggressive expansion of the SANY America excavator dealer network, which has doubled in size since mid-2012. “We will continue to grow with strong partners like Tar Heel Machinery,” he said.
