Screen Machine Industries Inc. has introduced The Screen Machine 612T portable, tracked trommel screening plant.

From the USA Sourced Grade 80 steel unibody frame that is robotically precision-welded to the true, wireless, “on the fly,” windrow stockpiling capability, the 612T portable trommel screen is ideal for the most demanding topsoil, compost, green waste or mulch processing requirements, according to the manufacturer.

The 612T is designed to accommodate a 1 to 3 cu. yd. (.76 to 2.3 cu m) loader. The Screen Machine 612T’s design includes a Yanmar 84 hp (62.6 kW) Tier III diesel engine with electronic throttle and a 6 by 12 ft. (1.8 by 3.6 m) trommel drum that gives 226 sq. ft. (21 sq m) of trommel drum surface area. The cable/hinge lock design facilitates quick screen replacement and maintenance. Other features include a heavy-duty drum with triangular tumbling paddles and the ability to load directly into a truck with a 12 ft. 6 in. (3.8 m) discharge height on the side stacking conveyor. The 612T also features wireless remote controlled movement and operation for rapid set up.

Other key features include: a large capacity, unrestricted hopper with low 9 ft. (2.7 m) feed height; self-cleaning brushes that maintain efficient screen processing performance; and a 70 gal. (265 L) fuel tank that equates to 16 plus hours of continuous run-time between re-fueling. Options include oversize material conveyor, remote control tipping grizzly or a vibratory grizzly pre-screen.

The 612T portable screening plant is manufactured in the USA.
