Virnig Manufacturing Inc.’s 48 in. (122 cm) V-Snow blade attachment is designed to remove snow from sidewalks and other tight spaces, and is the smallest Virnig V-Snow blade available.

The V-Snow blade uses the skid-steer’s hydraulics to angle the entire blade 30 degrees in either direction. Variable V, scoop, straight and angled positions allow the operator to efficiently windrow, push, scoop and pile snow all with one attachment.

The floating frame link and 4-degree side-to-side oscillation help maintain full blade contact by following the contour of uneven surfaces. These features save operators time and money by scraping pavement clean the first time, according to the manufacturer.

Damage is minimized with two bottom-trip edges with two compression springs that “give way” to manhole covers and other hidden obstructions. Additionally, a hydraulic relief valve protects the plow by absorbing shock and angling the entire blade if a curb or other object is hit with excessive force.

The heavy-duty 3/16 in. (.5 cm) moldboard features reversible, replaceable bolt-on cutting edges that allow 5 ½ in. (14 cm) of total wear. Replaceable center sections prevent snow from getting through the middle hinge point when plowing. The V-Snow blade is powder coated to prevent rust and comes standard with adjustable cast skid shoes.

Optional pin-on wings are available to increase the overall blade width by 21 ¾ in. (55 cm). Where extra width is not needed, simply remove the wings by taking out the pins.

The V-Snow Blade is available in 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10-ft. (1.2, 1.5, 1.8, 2.1, 2.4, 2.7 and 3 m) blade widths. Each one comes standard with a steel cutting edge, two pairs of steel center sections, cylinders, fittings, hoses and couplers.

All Virnig attachments are backed by a one-year warranty, and are built with a universal mount to fit most skid steer loaders including: Bobcat, Caterpillar, ASV, Case, Daewoo, Gehl, JCB, John Deere, Kubota, Mustang, New Holland, Takeuchi, Terex, Volvo, Wacker-Neuson and others.
