BETHEL PARK, Pa. (AP) Police in western Pennsylvania said a search of the home of a man charged with burglary turned up enough stolen items to fill a tractor-trailer.
Police in Bethel Park said they arrested Andrew McQuiston on March 5 while he was leaving a house that had been burglarized. When they searched his home, they said they found hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of tools and other items.
Investigators said the search turned up enough tools and heavy equipment to fill a 53-ft. trailer.
Bethel Park police Chief John Mackey said many of the items appear to have come from construction sites nearby and in Pittsburgh and Washington County.
McQuiston declined to comment on the charges March 9. He is free on bond pending a preliminary hearing.
