Walsh JCB hosted a JCB Demo Day event Oct. 2 at the company’s headquarters in Prospect, Pa.

Attendees were treated to a catered lunch and door prizes while visiting with the Walsh team and a full contingent of JCB product specialists. While a full lineup of JCB machines were on hand for review and available for demonstration, JCB’s new 86C compact excavator, 526 compact telescopic handler and new 3CX backhoe were the day’s featured machines. Billed as JCB’s entry-level backhoe, the 3CX features an extremely tough design, combining reliability with affordability and a standard five-year warranty. Other JCB machines on hand included telescopic handlers, backhoes and compact excavator models as well as skid steers, wheel loaders and attachments.

The event attracted a good-sized crowd of area contractors and municipalities eager to learn about JCB latest product developments and equipment offerings. Charlie Walsh, president of Walsh JCB and Shane Coates, general manager, sales of JCB agreed that the demo day event provided an outstanding opportunity for customers and prospects to learn about the JCB line up of equipment and gain hands on experience of the machines’ capabilities.
