Western Releases Stainless Steel MVP 3 V-Plow

Western Products, manufacturer of Western snow removal and ice control equipment, released a stainless steel option for its MVP 3 V-plow snow plow.

The MVP 3 was released in 2013 as an improved version of its MVP Plus V-plow. The MVP 3 offers flared wings that extend from a center height of 31 to 39 in. (78.7 to 99 cm) at the outer edges on the 9 ft. 6 in. (2.9 m) model.

The plow also features a reinforced blade structure with eight vertical ribs, an enhanced center hinge, a larger center hinge pin, a bigger lift ram with 1¾ in. (4.4 cm) diameter cylinder, and an improved T-frame design. The MVP 3 also features dual-trip edge protection to protect the plow, the truck and the operator over bumps and hidden obstacles.
