ASV Holdings Inc., a manufacturer of all-purpose and all-season compact track loaders and skid steers, has added Barry Equipment Co. Inc. to its dealer network.

Barry Equipment will offer all ASV Posi-Track compact track loaders, including several new CTLs — the RT-25 and RT-40, small-frame CTLs and the VT-70 High Output, the company's newest vertical lift CTL offering maximum performance, productivity and serviceability. The company also will carry ASV's skid-steer loaders.

"We are extremely excited about the addition of the ASV product to our current offerings," said Joe Barry, operations manager of Barry Equipment. "With the addition of the ASV loaders, Barry Equipment is now able to provide the finest tracked loaders and skid steers available on the market today. ASV also offers machines for the timber industry that are purpose built and already have strong market acceptance among our forestry customers.

"Since 1990, ASV has been the pioneer in the tracked skid steer market when they introduced the first Posi-Track rubber-track loader and they have been perfecting the design and manufacturing of tracked loaders ever since," he said.

ASV sees Barry Equipment as an excellent fit with its goals as well.

"Our customers count on their local dealer, so a strong presence of reliable partners is important to us," said Justin Rupar, ASV vice president of sales and marketing. "We're excited to welcome Barry Equipment because they share many of the same values ASV is known for — the integrity, quality and customer satisfaction that elevate the ASV customer experience."

Barry sees the ASV line as a great complement to its existing lines.

"Doosan gives us a great lineup of mid-sized and large excavators and wheel loaders that have proven to be quality machines that meet the demands of our customers," Barry said. "And not long ago, we added Yanmar, so that we can offer a great selection of compact excavating machines."

Barry Equipment is located at 30 Birch Island Road in Webster, Mass., and has been a family-owned and -operated heavy equipment dealership since 1985. In addition to ASV, Barry Equipment represents Doosan, Yanmar, Peterson, Rotobec, Log Max, Brandon Manufacturing, Fecon and Dynapac.
