Construction Equipment Guide

The Bobcat T320 compact track loader is for operators who want to do more — push more, dig more and grade more. Achieving increased productivity and greater attachment performance isn’t a problem with the powerful 92-hp (68.6 kW) diesel engine on the T320 from Bobcat Company, a business of Ingersoll Rand.

The introduction of the T320 extends the line of Bobcat compact track loaders to six. This new vertical lift path loader features a significantly larger engine and a 3,200-lb. (1,451 kg) rated operating capacity, making it the largest compact track loader manufactured by Bobcat. Its 92-hp liquid cooled diesel engine means it has more horsepower to perform better in nearly every application.

Bobcat representatives say the powerful T320 especially excels at using high-flow Bobcat attachments such as the forestry cutter, Brushcat rotary cutter, stump grinder, chipper and more.

The extra horsepower, coupled with the Bobcat rugged rubber tracks, also gives operators the muscle needed for tough pushing, digging and grading. In addition, the track system provides extra traction, reduced ground pressure and low ground disturbance, with enhanced flotation to extend contractors’ work seasons. The machine’s 18-in. (45.7 cm) wide rubber tracks produce just 4.2 psi (.3 bar) of ground pressure.

The T320 has a lift height of 10 ft. 9 in. (3.3 m) that follows a vertical lift path, allowing it to load trucks easily. The design of the low-profile lift arms gives the operator an increased view of the attachment and work area.

A variety of Bobcat attachments add to the productivity and versatility of this machine. The T320 is equipped with a hydraulic system that produces 21.2 gpm (80 Lpm), or operators can choose the 37 gpm (140 Lpm) high-flow option, which produces increased hydraulic breakout force and lifting capabilities. Operators can quickly and easily change between the more than 40 approved attachments for the T320 with the standard Bob-Tach attachment mounting system or the optional Power Bob-Tach mounting system.

The T320 is outfitted with a transversely mounted engine for single-side servicing. It also has permanently lubricated idlers and rollers that require no maintenance. In addition, adjusting the track tension is accomplished simply by adding grease to the tensioning cylinder.

Comfort and safety features are built into the T320 design with its deluxe operator cab. The unit comes with a fully adjustable suspension seat and has modern instrument panels that provide operational, diagnostic and monitoring features. The optional deluxe instrument panel includes a keyless-start security system, lockouts, digital engine hour and job clocks, a multilingual display as well as a “help” menu. Cab options include factory-installed heat and air conditioning.
