Case has been in existence since 1842 when Jerome Increase Case created a steam engine for agricultural use in Racine, Wisconsin. Case has grown a lot since the mid-19th century, to say the least. In 1912, road-building equipment manufacturing, such as steam rollers and graders, began what most people know of Case Construction today. Acquisitions and mergers followed over the years, such as in 1957, when the company bought the American Tractor Corporation. By the mid-1990s, Case Construction had become the leading maker of light- and medium-sized equipment. The late 1990s brought with it a significant milestone for Case Construction when the company merged with New Holland, operating under the moniker CNH Global.

CNH carries a wide array of construction equipment, which can make it challenging for iron purchasers to find exactly what they’re looking for and even more important, whom to purchase it from.
