CAWGC Names Scholarship Recipients

Nolan A. Cox, a 2017 graduate of Joliet Catholic Academy, will be attending Joliet Junior College and majoring in construction management.   His parents are Jason (partner at Len Cox & Sons, a CAWGC member) and Amy Cox.

Nolan A. Cox, a 2017 graduate of Joliet Catholic Academy, will be attending Joliet Junior College and majoring in construction management.   His parents are Jason (partner at Len Cox & Sons, a CAWGC member) and Amy Cox. Joseph W. Mann, a 2015 graduate of Wilmington High School, will be a junior at Ferris State University, majoring in construction management.  His parents are Patrick (Local #597 Pipefitters) and Judith Mann. Anika M. Manzo, a 2013 graduate of Minooka Community High School, will be a senior at University of Illinois/ Urbanas/Champaign and is majoring in electrical engineering.  Her parents are Hugo (Painter’s Union Council #14/LU 33) and Soledad Manzo. Scott E. Simpson, a 2014 graduate of Joliet Catholic High School, will be a senior at Ferris State University and is majoring in construction management.  His parents are John (Frank Burla & Son Builders, a CAWGC member) and Patricia Simpson. Paul A. Sieczkowski, a 2016 graduate of Carl Sandburg High School, will be a sophomore at Purdue University and will be majoring in Engineering. His parents are William Sieczkowski Jr. (R. Carlson and Sons, a CAWGC member) and Elena Reklaitis.

The Contractors Association of Will and Grundy Counties' (CAWGC) Scholarship Chairwoman Becky Fallin, president of RHL Insulation, announced the annual CAWGC Scholarships recipients: Nolan A. Cox, Joliet, Ill.; Joseph W. Mann, Wilmington, Ill.; Anika M. Manzo, Shorewood, Ill.; Paul A. Sieczkowski, Orland Park, Ill.; and Scott E. Simpson, Joliet, Ill.

Since 1996, the CAWGC has awarded more than $100,000 in scholarships to area students who are pursuing careers in the construction field. Also serving on the scholarship committee with Fallin were Marsha Rolih, Pierro Quality Electrical Construction, and Mike Ullrich, Smith Painting.
