To help NCCCO candidates and current CCO card-holders make the most of their time at this year’s ConExpo/Con-AGG, Crane Inspection & Certification Bureau (CICB) will be holding NCCCO Mobile Crane Operator Preparatory Training and volunteering our services for NCCCO Practical Exams. A one-day refresher training program will be held on March 3 for recertification candidates, and a three-day CCO Preparatory Program for new candidates will be held March 3 to 5.

CCO Preparatory training is available for the following specialties: lattice boom crawlers, lattice boom truck, telescopic boom — fixed and swing cab cranes. NCCCO written and practical exams also can be taken while you are attending the show, making it very convenient for show attendees to leave NCCCO certified.

CICB’s professionally trained instructors and subject matter experts are not only NCCCO Certified as mobile, overhead and articulating cranes operators, but also are CCO certified riggers, signalpersons, and crane inspectors. All of CICB’s trainers are NCCCO accredited practical examiners. CICB’s instructors have been awarded the prestigious Top Trainer Award in 2013, 2012, 2011 and 2009.

CICB’s crane experts and CCO practical examiners will be on-hand at the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators display area at ConExpo to point out the safety benefits of training and NCCCO certifications. In addition, CICB’s accredited practical examiners will be donating their time and expertise to administer practical exams on March 4 to 7.

The goal of CICB’s training programs are to lower maintenance costs, increase reliability and life of the equipment, reduce accidents and injuries, increase worker skills, productivity and morale and achieve regulatory, best practice and corporate compliance. CICB, headquartered in Orlando Fla., since 1969 with a second training facility in Houston, Texas, offers scheduled training programs at its facilities and at various locations across the United States or customized onsite training at your facility.
