    Construction Workers Pose for Death-Defying Spire Photo

    Four workers took to the heights to pose for a photo not for the vertigo-prone.

    Four construction workers have posed for a picture that is not for the nasuea-prone.

    Saturday's completion of the 294-foot 9-inch spire atop the Wilshere Grand Tower in Los Angeles makes the building to tallest west of the Mississippi River.

    The four workers decided to mark the occasion and climbed an internal maintenance ladder to reach the top. They were attached by harnesses to the inside and outside of the building.

    The tower is expected to be open to the public early next year.
