Morbark held its customer Demo Days event Sept. 22 and 23 at its corporate worldwide headquarters in Winn, Mich. The event drew more than 300 customers and dealers from 15 countries eager to see the new machines Morbark launched during the event.

Among the new equipment on display, and in action, were the Advantage 3 high performance chipping drum, the Morbark 3800XL horizontal grinder and a sneak peek at several prototype machines yet to go into production.

The event featured factory tours, educational seminars, equipment demonstrations and plenty of networking opportunities. The seminar covered a range of subjects including Tier IV engines, emerging markets and Morbark’s “Orange Watchdog,” a custom designed communications system that monitors engine and machine operations and transmits real time production, fuel consumption and maintenance data to a user’s computer or telephone.
