Eagle Power and Equipment Corp. recently announced the appointment of Rodney Bush to the position of parts, service and sales representative (PSSR) after more than 25 years of service with the company.

Eagle Power and Equipment Corp. recently announced the appointment of Rodney Bush to the position of parts, service and sales representative (PSSR) after more than 25 years of service with the company.

He originally worked for Case Power and Equipment and remained in the parts department when Jerry McDonald bought the company and renamed it Eagle Power and Equipment in 1996. He continued to work in the parts department until 2002 when he was promoted to a sales position.

“We have been considering adding a PSSR for a few years now, but the challenge was finding the right person with the proper mix of parts and mechanical knowledge as well as the ability to sell,” said Matt McDonald, president of Eagle Power and Equipment. “One day, we realized the right person was already with us. Rodney [Bush] knows our machines inside and out, he sold parts for many years, and his sales experience and relationship with the customers make him the perfect person for the role.”

In his new role, Bush will be assisting his customers with their parts and service needs. He also will be performing inspections on machines and selling attachments. Bush will cover multiple locations in the Tri-state area, including New Castle, Del., Cecil, Md., and southern Chester and Delaware Counties in Pennsylvania.

Bush said he is looking forward to this new chapter in his career and for the opportunity to continue working with his “second family” at Eagle Power.

“I'm excited about the new position because it's my forte,” said Bush. “I was promoted to this position because of my vast knowledge of the machines and my mechanical and sales background. I know the machines inside and out. I know the service end of it and attachments from the sales end of it.”
