Foley Equipment hosted a 75th anniversary celebration for National Land Improvement Contractors Association (LICA) at the company's Kansas City store on July 23. Attendees were in Kansas City for the National LICA Summer Meeting, which was held at the Intercontinental Hotel during the week.

Festivities at the anniversary celebration featured “The Contractor Games” — machine skill games including Backhoe Basketball, Skid Steer Relay and Mini-Excavator Challenge. Attendees escaped the heat in an air conditioned tent where they were treated to world famous K.C. barbeque.

The celebration also included the LICA Cook-Off Challenge — a timed cooking challenge in which contestants were provided everything they needed to grill two K.C. strips. The strips were judged for taste and contestants awarded prizes for the best tasting strips.
