Godwin Pumps Expands NC Team in Raleigh, Charlotte With New Additions

Godwin Pumps, a manufacturer of portable Dri-Prime rental pumps, recently expanded its team in the Charlotte and Raleigh, NC, rental branch offices.

Don Kyle, of Tega Cay, SC, is branch manager of Godwin’s Charlotte office, which is located at 201 Forsyth Hall Dr. Kyle oversees all sales and operations including new business development in the Charlotte area.

Kyle comes to Godwin with 11 years of experience, having previously held management positions with North American Diamond Tools, Brea, CA, and Wacker Corporation, Menomonee, WI.

New office manager of the Charlotte rental office is Theresa Coffey, of Monroe, NC. Coffey manages all day-to-day office activities including rental contracts, work orders and accounting. Coffey comes to Godwin with previous experience at Drake Dental Lab, Charlotte, NC.

Kely Waldrop joins the team as an administrative assistant. Supporting the Charlotte sales team, sales engineers Rich Kelly and Doug Bartholomew and North Carolina regional manager Gregg Leslie, Waldrop specifically assists with quotes, bids and the distribution of technical information. Waldrop previously held sales administrative positions at Philip Service, Rock Hill, SC, and Waste Management, Gastonia, SC.

Shawn Powell former parts manager of Godwin’s Charlotte office, is sales engineer at Godwin’s Raleigh-area rental office, located at 3733 Conquest Dr. in Garner. A two-year veteran of Godwin Pumps, Powell relocated to Raleigh to support existing customers and develop new business in the region. Powell’s previous experience includes mechanic, sales, and service positions with Ron Powell and Sons Inc., Kennett Square, PA; N & N Ball and Roller, Mountain City, TN; and Grant Extermination, Gastonia, NC.

Philip Morris joins Powell in Raleigh as an inside sales engineer. Morris also comes from Godwin’s Charlotte office, where he was hired in September 2003 to handle various operations functions. Transitioning to an inside sales position in the Raleigh office, Morris is teaming up with outside sales engineer Jarrod Williamson to field calls and assist with operations and field services. Morris was employed previously by Sadri Custom Homes of Charlotte as a project superintendent.
