The flexible application options and the high hourly output were decisive reasons for Herbert Wohlfarth in the purchase of the MOBICAT MC 100 R EVO.

Compact, easy to transport and flexible to use: the new crushing plant for the demolition and recycling company Wohlfarth Baggerbetrieb should possess these features. This is why the choice fell on a mobile jaw crushing plant MOBICAT MC 100 R EVO from Kleemann.

Wohlfarth Baggerbetrieb uses its crushing plant on the company-owned recycling yard in Waidhofen or on changing demolition sites, which is why it was important to Herbert Wohlfarth that the new acquisition can be easily transported on his low loader. His attention was drawn to the Kleemann jaw crusher MC 100 R EVO at the bauma 2016 trade fair. Ralph Gruber from the Wirtgen Group branch in Augsburg initially provided Herbert Wohlfarth with a demonstration machine for extensive testing. The MC 100 R EVO convinced him. The MOBICAT MC 100 R EVO has already been in use for one year and is in operation every month for around 150 hours. He is very satisfied with the output of up to 220 tons an hour: "My previous crushing plant required a whole working day for the material quantity that the MC 100 R EVO can process in 3-4 hours", says Herbert Wohlfarth. "The machine regulates minor blockages in the crusher itself without having to interrupt operation.“ The plant features the Continuous Feed System (CFS) that regulates the material supply in relation to the material flow and thus guarantees optimum utilisation of the crusher.

The compact Kleemann jaw crusher was last used in a residential area in Munich-Feldmoching for the demolition of two houses from the 1970s. The rubble consisted mainly of concrete and bricks, which was crushed from 0-700 mm to 0-50 mm. In a few days, around 1,400 tons of rubble was processed and filled into the excavation pits. A classifying screen was used to separate cables and wood and for exact classification of the recycling material. The MC 100 R EVO is equipped with a spray system to reduce dust, which is important in residential areas to protect residents against high dust development. Irrespective of where the plant is deployed, Wirtgen Group Service staff are quickly on site. "Right from the first machine instruction I was impressed by the service member. He explained the plant down to the last detail. If we need a spare part, we can rely fully on service and a quick solution is always found", said Herbert Wohlfarth. To ensure a service life as long as possible for the MC 100 R EVO, he places great importance on regular maintenance and care.
