With its 226 channels and Universal Tracking, the Vanguard chipset is future proof, as it will track signals from all available and currently planned GPS, GLONASS and Galileo satellites, according to the manufacturer.

Other features include the rugged, durable magnesium alloy housing, the choice of communication options, “and longest life rechargeable battery while maintaining the lightest weight in its class,” Korpershoek said.

In August, TPS announced the new HiPer SR, a highly advanced GNSS RTK receiver with a compact and lightweight design. With the introduction of the HiPer V, Topcon “offers a GNSS receiver lineup with advanced technologies no other can match,” Korpershoek said.
