Garden State Engine & Equipment (GSE&E) delivered a Merlo P50.18 telescopic forklift to Home & Land Development of Rumson, N.J.

"The Merlo P50.18 is an excellent choice for us for several reasons, said Charles Farkouh, CEO. The P50.18 has the ability to lift heavier loads higher, which speeds up production. The chart out lifts its competitors substantially giving us the edge we need by saving time and staying competitive. With this machine having a telescopic forklift that side shifts really helps place the loads and trusses exactly where they need to be; again saving more time and more money, all with an affordable price that was 20 percent less then the other machines I researched."

"The Merlo P50.18 was the right choice for our company. It is essential that we reach and deliver the materials precisely to its exact location. With its 11,000 pound capacity and its 58 feet of lift height, the P50.18 eliminates the need for a crane, another big savings," said Farkouh. "The Merlo P50.18 performs with ease and agility. Having an on board computer allows the machine not to have outriggers. This again not only saves time and money, but adds an important safety factor allowing the operator to feel comfortable with his pick."

For more than nine years, Home & Land Development has built a strong reputation as a builder that consistently exceeds customer expectations. Over these years, it has constructed luxury new homes, remodels and home additions throughout Rumson, Fair Haven and Monmouth County, N.J.

"I believe GSE&E shares the same goals and causes. Not only do they represent the finest telescopic forklifts, but practice what they preach," said Farkouh.

"GSE&E sales and service department has been excellent in providing me with a machine of excellent quality, an innovative design and a machine that does more then its competition all for less money," Farkouh said. "Our customers expect us to meet their deadlines; I believe the Merlo P50.18 will help us achieve them. We build quality homes, using quality materials; why not use quality tools as well. I’m very glad I made the decision to purchase a Merlo. GSE&E has gone above and beyond to make us comfortable with our decision. Vince DeRienzo, regional sales manager of GSE&E has not only provided expert product knowledge, but a comfort level in buying the right machine for us. His fast communication and a commitment to provide the best service possible is second to none."
