The Hyundai HX series hydraulic excavators has been named one of favored new construction products of 2016. The Hyundai HX series product line includes 10 excavator models, ranging from 14 to 52 metric tons.

HX Series Excavators: Innovative, Productive, Fuel-Efficient

"The Hyundai HX series excavators come packed with high-end features," said Corey Rogers, marketing manager, Hyundai Construction Equipment Americas.

For example, the HX models include as standard equipment an 8-inch (20.3-cm) interactive, adjustable, touchscreen cluster-monitor in the cab. For all standard HX models, the monitor includes haptic remote control, providing easier operator accessibility and better ergonomics.

Viewable on the monitor is the Hyundai-exclusive AAVM – or All-Around View Monitoring – an optional system that provides a 360⁰-surround virtual operating view. Included in AAVM is the IMOD (Intelligent Moving Object Detection) system that senses and warns the operator when objects come within 16.5 feet (5 m) of the machine. The AAVM system helps make the Hyundai HX series among the safest excavators to operate on any jobsite in North America.

Hyundai HX series excavators are up to 10-percent more fuel-efficient and achieve 5 percent faster truck-loading times than previous models.

Industry-leading warranties

The HX series excavators are protected by Hyundai's industry-leading three-year, 3,000-hour standard warranty and five-year, 10,000-hour structural warranty. Hyundai also includes three years of full access to Hyundai's proprietary telematics system, called Hi-Mate. This remote management system provides convenient access to machine diagnostic and maintenance information, machine location, operating performance information, and user-programmable alerts.
