Liftech Equipment Companies Inc., a retailer and distributor of construction, industrial and cleaning system equipment, has appointed Jeff Rich as branch manager of its new Connecticut operation. Rich will operate out of Liftech’s Bloomfield, CT, branch office located at 9 Belden Road.

In this capacity, Rich will be responsible for branch administration, and for establishing and maintaining customer relationships throughout the Connecticut and western Massachusetts marketplace.

Before accepting this position, Rich served as branch manager of Hertz Equipment Rental Corporation in the Coventry, RI, area.

“Jeff has excelled in previous management and sales positions promoting rental product lines, heavy equipment, and consumable products that service the construction and rental industries,” said Michael Vaughan, Liftech’s CFO. “The quality, variety, and pricing of our product offerings are solid and competitive with everything else out there. Jeff’s primary focus is on the customer satisfaction and quality of service activities that separate the better companies from the pack.”
