On September 22nd, 2015, LiuGong featured six products - including wheel loaders, excavators, pavers, and cranes - at the 13th Beijing International Construction Machinery Exhibition & Seminar (BICES).
Wheel Loader: Loading with Excellence
LiuGong’s 890H wheel loader gives its operator maximum control over the equipment, according to the company. Large tonnage excavators, with 40-ton capacity and above, are typically made by western manufacturers. However, LiuGong was determined to design and produce large and high-quality excavators. LiuGong’s 950E has been in overall E series excavators R&D pipeline from its inception. After extensive market research, LiuGong gained the knowledge and experience required to produce high-performing large tonnage excavators. Designed by LiuGong’s expert engineers, and driven by the spirit of innovation to overcome all challenges, LiuGong’s 950E excavator, which is competitive with all western brands, has now been launched.
As one of the largest excavators LiuGong produces, the CLG950E is equipped with the most up-to-date components and integrates a number of advanced technologies. The CLG950E was developed on a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform in accordance with the LiuGong Development Process (LDP), making it a customer-oriented and high-quality product, which provides 50T capacity and is suitable for large-scale quarrying and mining.
The CLG950E includes an advanced PC control system, which brings high levels of efficiency as well as low fuel consumption to the machine. According to the company, it is durable, easy to operate and maintain, reliable, environmental friendly and comfortable to drive, making it a perfect fit for large projects like mining etc.
Crane: Efficiency Expert
According to the company, LiuGong’s TC550A has benefited from the company’s extensive experience in developing machines designed for working in extreme conditions, coupled with innovation and modern design, LiuGong has taken its crane manufacturing into a new generation of innovation.
The H-shaped outrigger chassis creates an industry-leading wide span that enhances the crane’s stability while it’s hoisting. The lifting operation is powered by an independent engine in the upper part of the crane. The variable displacement pump controls the displacement according to the load change and identifies dynamic power, reducing fuel consumption by 10%, while still delivering exceptional performance. The U-shaped jib strengthens its lifting capacity. Its slewing platform provides overall support for the lifting operation and is always ready for any extreme duty. The platform is covered with an all-shielding frame which features an upward tilting engine hood in the back. The hood can be easily controlled by an air spring to increase accessibility to the engine and allows easy maintenance. The crane provides an additional GPS monitoring system that offers services like remote fault diagnosis etc. The patented wide-bodied cab for TC550A is spacious and its full-view glass provides a safer environment for operators. The soft interior and seat inside the cab are comfortable for operators, even after working long shifts.
Paver: All-rounder in Asphalt Pavement
LiuGong’s CLG509A paver is widely applied in national construction projects such as roads, parking lots and airports etc., for paving road bases and surfaces. It is suitable for bituminous concrete, stabilizing soil, lime-ash soil and all kinds of road materials.
The CLG509A paver, with its unique 4 closed-loop working modes (paving forward and backward, moving forward and backward), improves its moving and paving stability, and features high performance in either linear or steering pavement. Its dual throttle handle maximizes the controllability and locked up function can effectively avoid speed loss during operation. It features a filter cover over the radiator ventilation surface, which prevents small stones from being sucked into the radiator, enhancing heat dissipation. The CLG509A has an advanced electronic system and steadily controls the mixing of materials with the help of a load sensor, proportioning value and reducing segregation. The core components used for the paver are reliable and durable.
Cold planer: Municipal Construction Work Horse
LiuGong’s CLG5100-2 cold planner is equipped with a Dongfeng Cummins engine and can reach 153kw net power – the highest among equivalent machines in China. The large torque reserve can satisfy both asphalt and cement pavements’ milling requests. LiuGong has built a nationwide service and parts distribution network, which can provide convenient, fast, and cost-efficient services to any part of the country. The 370L diesel tank ensures continuous operation for more than 12 hours. The radiator can be easily maintained and the hydrostatic drive system can be changed for working/walking modes. The CLG5100-2 is one of the first machines in the country to use a hydraulic milling system.
