Messick's Christmas Light Show Raises Money for Local Charities

Messick Farm Equipment, just off Rt. 283 in Elizabethtown, Pa., announced the opening of its 2016 Christmas Light Show on Dec. 2, 2016. For the fourth year in a row, Messick's is hosting its Christmas Light Show and will be collecting donations throughout the event to benefit four local charities. 100 percent of the proceeds collected from the event will go to Paxton Street Ministries, Water Street Rescue Mission, Mennonite Disaster Service and Elizabethtown Community Cupboard.

This year's light show at Messick's has new features, including an enormous snow blowing machine and two huge flame throwers integrated into the light show experience. The show features four new songs and more than 70,000 Christmas lights covering the building, parking lot and light poles, plus dozens of Kubota tractors with headlights individually connected and synchronized with the display for an incredible light show experience.

The Christmas Light Show at Messick Farm Equipment runs from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Dec. 2 to 30, 2016. The light show music is broadcast through an FM radio station which guests can tune into and enjoy from the warmth of their vehicles.

Over the past three years Messick's Christmas Light Show has raised more than $78,000 for local charities throughout the event.
