Murphy Tractor & Equipment Company Inc. hosted a customer appreciation event to thank customers and celebrate the first anniversary of its new facility in Springfield, Mo.

More than 150 customers, vendors, friends and neighbors attended the festivities event held on Sept. 21. Visitors enjoyed lunch, door prizes, tours, and demonstrations of newest John Deere and Hitachi construction equipment.

Murphy Tractor has served customers in Springfield since 2001, and in mid-2006 moved into a new 25,200 sq. ft. facility at 1401 State Highway MM. This new structure features large interior parts and equipment sales departments, eight service bays, and a vast outdoor heavy equipment yard.

“Murphy Tractor has made a significant commitment of the highest caliber to their customers in Southwest Missouri and Eastern Kansas with the addition of a new facility and service center,” stated Service Manager Jesse Evans. “We look forward to continuing our growth and sincerely thank all our customers for their ongoing support.”

Murphy Tractor corporate officers and local staff welcomed visitors to a BBQ lunch held in sparkling clean service bays. Door prizes and gifts were given out as guests browsed the parts store and visited the sales offices. Branch Manager Bill Shank and his staff were on hand to provide tours and demonstrations. They showcased the new 310J backhoe and 750 J crawler dozer along the many other makes and models of equipment Murphy Tractor offers.
