NPK has purchased a new property in Elko, Nev., in conjunction with the launch of NPK Mining Equipment LLC.

Located at 1850 Idaho St., the facility will not only house NPK Mining Equipment, but also serve as a customer service center for western United States and Canada.

The new location will provide an additional three hours of phone service and late-day spare-parts shipping to NPK dealers and customers throughout the west.

NPK Mining Equipment will stand as a full-service NPK Construction Equipment distributor outlet providing sales, rental, spare parts, field service, and support for all NPK and PAUS products. The facility will warehouse PAUS mining vehicles and spare parts for mining vehicles, pedestal boom systems, and C&D attachments including hydraulic hammers, plate compactors and sheet pile drivers, concrete crushers and material processors, demolition shears, and demolition grabs.

The new plant also will be home to a mobile service center that factory-trained technicians will use to call on to customers in need of service.

Additionally, the property is set on a 2-acre plot that will allow NPK space to expand and store additional equipment over time.

NPK will take full ownership of 1850 Idaho St. on June 1.
