New Products for the Construction Industry
Beast horizontal grinders have always been ahead of the pack when it comes to processing dense, stringy green waste like palms, vines and coastal vegetation. This type of material can be a challenge to process for any machine, but new options and designs for the Model 2680XP, 3680XP and 4680XP Beast Recyclers allow these machines to excel in this type of grinding application, according to the manufacturer.
The changes begin with the cuttermill, which features a 30-tooth setup with 2-in.
Komatsu America Corp. introduces the new C93 Harvesting Head, a versatile “all-around” head weighing in at 2,138 lbs (970 kg). This is the first model in Komatsu’s new C-series family of “carry-style” heads.
The C93 replaces the prior 350.1 model, and offers significant improvements for better handling of thinning projects as well as crooked stem and multi-stem harvesting applications.
Terex Fuchs E Series material handlers now feature standard Eco Mode operation that provides substantial fuel savings. Conveniently located on the machine's new multifunction button control panel, operators can select either a “Power Mode,” “Eco Mode” or “Eco+ Mode” operating setting, allowing machine power output to match the application.
“The Terex Fuchs E Series handlers are designed to be fuel efficient, even at 100 percent engine speed,” said Heavy Equipment Product Manager — Material Handlers — of Terex Construction Americas, Steve Brezinski.
