Petrowsky Auctioneers, a Ritchie Bros. Company, conducted its annual spring auction at 700 Hart Road in Columbus, Ohio, on May 25.

The equipment up for bid, including mixer trucks, wheel loaders, concrete pump trucks, pavers, skid steer loader and trucks came primarily from the Shelly Company. The auction attracted a sizable crowd of bidders on site and online.

Based in North Franklin, Conn., Petrowsky Auctioneers was acquired by Ritchie Bros. in August of 2016. Tim Keane, Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers' North East sales director, said that while Ritchie Bros. continues to conduct auctions at the company's permanent Columbus auction site located in South Vienna, Ohio, the tradition of the Petrowsky Auctioneers Columbus Auction offered a unique opportunity to serve both The Shelly Company and equipment buyers familiar with the sale.
