Road Machinery & Supplies Co., based in Savage, Minn., has been named the exclusive dealer for Gradall Industries in Minnesota and most of Iowa.

Road Machinery & Supplies Co. (RMS) recently announced the company has been named the exclusive dealer for Gradall Industries for the mine scaling, metal mill maintenance, contractor and municipal markets in Minnesota and Iowa, not including 13 counties in southwest Iowa.

This agreement aligns with the company's strategy of expanding sales and support capabilities to these markets.

"We're excited about our recent agreement with Gradall because they complement our existing products and the core strengths of RMS," Andy Schwandt, vice president – sales and marketing, explained. "The addition of Gradall will help us better serve our existing customers while earning new ones throughout Iowa and Minnesota."

Gradall Industries Inc. has been producing machines for governments and private contractors, as well as for mines and metal mills, since the 1940s.

Schwandt stated that RMS will stock Gradall parts locally, and technician training will begin immediately for those who don't already have previous Gradall experience.

Road Machinery & Supplies Co. is a distributor of construction and mining equipment with sales and support operations throughout the Upper Midwest. Based in Savage, Minn., RMS is a multiline dealer with nine locations across Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and five affiliated companies in Minnesota and Texas.

RMS business is anchored by its long relationship with Komatsu. Other brands represented, such as KPI-JCI, Epiroc and Sandvik, give RMS additional presence in the quarry, mining, and conveying industries. RMS also has a significant presence in the highway construction industry with products for paving, milling and compaction sourced from manufacturers GOMACO, LeeBoy, Dynapac, Volvo, and Roadtec.
