Iowa's crane distributor, RTL Equipment Inc., is expanding its inventory with the addition of new Demag AC 220-5 and AC 250-6 all terrain cranes, a pair of Terex T 340-1 telescopic truck cranes and a pair of Terex HC 110-1 crawler cranes.

RTL Equipment provides quality equipment to infrastructure, energy and general commercial construction contractors throughout the Midwest and is the area's distributor of Terex and Demag cranes.

The new Demag AC 220-5 crane is the most compact 5-axle unit in the 245-ton all terrain crane capacity class. It has a main boom length of 255.9 ft — the longest main boom of all 5-axle cranes —and a maximum system length of 324.8 ft., according to the company. And, with a top travel speed of 53 mph, the Demag AC 220-5 is a great fit for RTL Equipment's customer base.

RTL Equipment also will take delivery of two Terex T 340-1 telescopic truck cranes soon. These versatile 40-ton capacity class cranes have a top travel speed of 60 mph, a main boom length of 94 ft. and a maximum tip height of 99 ft.

Designed for superior transportability and flexible operation, the Terex HC 110-1 crawler crane has a 110-ton operation classification, a boom length of 230 ft. and a transport width of 12 ft.

Contractors will be able to check out all of RTL Equipment's new cranes in the near future.
