Southeastern Equipment Company has hired Rob Gonzalez as its new Indiana regional manager. Based in Indianapolis, Gonzalez will be responsible for driving the company's sales, rental and growth initiatives through the support and management of seven sales representatives across Indiana and three branch locations in Fort Wayne, Indianapolis and Evansville.

"The company's great reputation, business objectives and focus on customer success were exactly what I was looking for," said Gonzalez. "I'm very excited about the opportunity to help build the Southeastern team and foster growth."

Gonzalez joins Southeastern with more than a decade of experience in business development, territory sales and project management. Most recently, he was the Plains Region commercial sales manager of TruGreen, overseeing sales and production for 18 branches in Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Prior to TruGreen, he held sales management and business development roles with Summit Truck Equipment, NES Rentals, Rite Rug and Flooring Service of Indiana. Gonzalez also served in the U.S. Army from 2002 to 2010, achieving the rank of Sergeant.

"Rob brings years of industry knowledge and energy to this new role," said Southeastern President Mickey Gourley. "His military experience lends exceptional leadership qualities to his professional career. We know he will be a key contributor to the growth of our company and our team."

Gonzalez was honored as TruGreen's Indiana Business Development Rep of the Year in 2017 and 2018.
