The Garden State Bobcat Group held its second annual Demo Day at its Freehold, N.J., location, March 19.
The successful event drew nearly 70 people from the Tri-State area. Customers sat in the comfort of a heated tent while the latest equipment and attachments were exhibited. Garden State Bobcat sales personnel explained the features and capabilities of each piece of equipment and answered questions from the customers. Following the presentations, lunch was served; after which, customers were then able to use the equipment themselves.
The Garden State Bobcat Group’s vice president, Rob Woods, explained that his company hosts the annual event for three reasons: “First, we want to continue building our relationship with existing customers and invite new customers to become a part of our family of dealerships. Second, we want to increase consumer awareness of our diverse equipment offering and educate consumers on the versatility that our equipment offers. Last, Demo Day provides an opportunity to demonstrate our various equipment models and specialized attachments so the quality and versatility can be experienced first hand.”
A full range of equipment and attachment models were available for demonstration. The demo areas varied from a Bobcat 2200 utility vehicle, which had to be maneuvered through an obstacle course, to a T320 equipped with the forestry cutter attachment, which could mulch up to 12-in. diameter trees in seconds. In addition, side-by-side demonstration of different models allowed users hands-on comparisons.
