Wacker Neuson’s wide body, LTW 20 series light tower is now offered with a dedicated 208V 3-phase model. The LTW 20Z3 offers more flexibility, especially for mining and oil drilling applications where 208V is a common voltage for certain types of equipment. Based on customer feedback, Wacker Neuson’s new LTW also provides multiple outlet types and more single phase 120V duplex outlets.
The LTW 20Z3 is powered by an Isuzu diesel engine and is equipped with a 57-gal. (215.7 L) fuel tank, the largest in its class. This is especially appealing for remote applications where long hours of unattended running is expected. The Deep Sea digital controller provides engine and generator fault readings and protection. The rugged fully enclosed body with wide track and 15-in. (38 cm) wheels provide for overall durability and ease of towing in remote, rough terrain applications, according to the manufacturer.
To further enhance the LTW 20Z3 and other wide body models’ ability to provide reliable lighting in remote and extreme conditions, Wacker Neuson is introducing a factory-installed, custom options program. The cold weather package for the LTW series offers all the necessary components to provide lighting in cold climates, including a battery charger, battery disconnect, engine block heater, fluid containment, internal light storage and cold weather shroud. For customers who prefer to create their own light tower package, components are available as factory-installed individual items that include a power winch, electric or hydraulic brake, and electronic governor (options vary depending on the model).
