With the objective of becoming easier to do business with and being closer to customers, Terex Cranes announced in 2013 a transition towards a regional based organization. The new structure gives our customers the opportunity to contact dedicated local team members to assist both with purchase and support for all the product lines from Terex Cranes. As an integral part of this process, Terex Cranes has announced that Steve Headden has joined the Terex Cranes North American team as Vice President of Sales, reporting to Dan Slater, Vice President and General Manager, Terex Cranes North America.

“We have come a long way since we started this transition process towards a region based organization,” comments Dan Slater. “Steve’s vast experience and customer-centered philosophy will contribute tremendously towards adding value to our customer-focused organization.”

Besides significant experience in the construction industry, Steve has been with the Terex Aerial Work Platforms segment since 1999 in diverse customer centered roles such as Director, Business Development, National Account Manager and Regional Sales Manager. “As Terex Cranes transitions from a factory-centered approach to a customer-centered approach, it gives us an opportunity to be closer to customers, to develop deeper relationships, and with this, to contribute to their businesses’ success more than ever,” said Headden.

Steve will take on the responsibilities of leading the North American sales team, inside sales team, distributor development and working closely with manufacturing locations and customer support teams.

“With all the actions undertaken towards a regional based organization and an already world class team, Terex Cranes will have a positive influence on our customers’ success,” added Headden.
