Wacker Neuson is introducing a new line of skid steer loaders and compact track loaders to the North American market. Wacker Neuson’s SSL and CTLs have been designed and built from the ground up using on-going feedback and advice from contractors who use these machines every day to make a living.

The initial offering will consist of four models, two skid steer (SW models) and two compact track loaders (ST models) available starting mid-2014 through Wacker Neuson’s distributor network.

Skid Steer Loaders

• SW 24 — The SW 24 is a radial lift skid steer loader that brings power and efficiency to the job site. This unit delivers 2,350 lbs. of rated operating capacity at 50 percent of tip load and a lift height up to 125 in. (317.5 cm).

• SW 28 — The vertical lift SW 28 skid steer brings maximum reach making it ideal for loading and unloading. The SW 28 delivers 2,800 lbs. of rated operating capacity at 50 percent of tip load and a lift height up to 134 in. (340 cm).

Compact Track Loaders

• ST 35 — The ST 35 radial lift compact track loader delivers power and maneuverability. This unit delivers 3,500 lbs. of rated operating capacity at 50 percent of tip load and a lift height up to 125 in.

• ST 45 — The vertical lift ST 45 delivers high operating capacity and extended lift height, making it ideal for digging and loading. The ST 45 delivers 4,500 pounds of rated operating capacity at 50 percent of tip load and a lift height up to 134 in.

All Wacker Neuson’s SSL’s and CTL’s are powered by an efficient 74.3-hp turbo charged Perkins Tier IV Final diesel engine with a maintenance-free, flow through after treatment design. Because Wacker Neuson controls the design and manufacturing of the loaders, it was able to choose the perfect engine to meet the latest Tier IV standards, plus provide the power and performance needed to get the job done.

Wacker Neuson’s newest equipment line is built, tested and confirmed to stand up to the most rugged conditions. All units feature standard two-speed transmission for increased travel time on job sites for increased cycle times and overall productivity. Wacker Neuson engineers took special care in designing the cab from the operator’s perspective. The result is a spacious pressurized extended cab that maximizes space and comfort for the operator to move inside the cab. The ergonomic controls are easy to reach and operate and the visibility reduces operator fatigue, increasing productivity. Additionally, all units are available in both H-Pattern and ISO joystick pilot controls to fit the operator preference.
