Kevin Keroack, general manager of East Pine Bush Equipment couldn’t be happier with his company’s relationship with Gorilla Hammers.

"Hammer sales and hammer rentals are a big part of our business at East PBE, " Keroack began. "Over the years we have represented a number of different manufacturers. For rental purposes we typically rent hammers with an excavator carrier.

"I originally got wind of the Gorilla hammers from our parent company, Pine Bush Equipment, in Pine Bush, New York and their CEO, Steve Boniface. Steve was blown away by an experience that he had with the service side of Gorilla where they tackled a significant sized install in less than 24 hours’ notice and got it done. Our New York office has been doing business with Gorilla ever since and recommended highly that we do the same."

Another big appeal to the Gorilla hammers is tied to its design.

"Because of its unique design we are typically able to put one size higher foot pound hammer on an excavator carrier than what would be allowed by other hammer manufacturers. In other words, on an 80,000 pound excavator other hammer manufacturer specs would allow us to install an 8,000 foot pound hammer; with a Gorilla we can install a 12,000 foot pound hammer," Keroack said.

Gorilla’s hammers are designed with open side plates, which make for a lighter overall design. The design also gives easier access to the inner workings of the hammer, reducing maintenance and repair costs, according to Keroack.

"We are three years into our relationship with Gorilla Hammers and I would have to say we have been treated very well. Gorilla has a tremendous inventory of hammers and parts, and gives us fast and reliable deliveries. Bob and Joe Tedesco, the owners of Gorilla Hammers, have a great depth of knowledge about hammer design and application and have been a tremendous asset to our company."
