Ritchie Hosts Unreserved Public Auction in North East

Close to 2,600 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in North East, Md., on Aug. 28.

Bidders came from 54 countries, including all 49 U.S. states. More than 87 percent of the equipment was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as Paraguay, New Zealand and United Arab Emirates. Online bidders purchased 49 percent of the equipment sold (by dollar value).

In total, more than 2,000 equipment items were sold in the auction, including excavators, crawler tractors, truck tractors and more.
