Doosan has expanded its dealer network with the addition of Venture Drilling Supply as an authorized sales, parts, service and rental provider of Doosan equipment. The dealership is located at 1150 County Road 155, Georgetown, Texas.

In 1983, Venture Drilling Supply was established in Tahlequah, Okla., by Wayne McCarthy. At the time, McCarthy owned and operated a drilling company and saw a need to provide professional sales and service of quality construction equipment to customers. The company takes pride in helping its customers sustain their own operations with integrity and honesty. In the 30 years since its founding, the family owned and operated company has grown to include locations in Oklahoma and Texas.

In late 2012, Venture Drilling Supply explored the idea of expanding its product line. After meeting with Doosan, Venture realized the magnitude of its opportunity with the company.

“We saw a company that was first and foremost committed to the distributors’ and end users’ demands, as well as being highly motivated to grow market share,” said Colt McCarthy, vice president of operations and co-owner. “Not only is Doosan ambitious and supportive, but they also have developed high quality equipment that will hold its own against any brand in the industry,” he added. “From that point on Venture was all in.”

It then became evident that if the company wanted to become a key player in the central Texas equipment market, it would need to establish a more local presence. After extensive research the company decided on a new service and sales facility in the heart of “equipment row,” in north Austin.

Venture is committed to bringing integrity and service to its new central Texas location, according to the company. Venture believes its new and existing customers will benefit from Doosan equipment’s affordability and reliability. “(Doosan’s) reliability allows operators to meet their goals, and their comfortable ergonomics means less fatigue and higher productivity,” McCarthy added.

Venture Drilling Supply serves customers in the aggregate, utility, recycling and demolition markets, as well as contractors and municipalities.

The dealership will distribute Doosan heavy excavators, wheel excavators, wheel loaders, mini excavators and articulated dump trucks throughout central Texas and the city of Austin.
