More than 1,900 bidders participated online and in person at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers’ multi-million dollar unreserved public equipment auction in Orlando, Fla., on Oct. 23.

Bidders came from more than 60 countries, including 49 U.S. states. More than 55 percent of the equipment was sold to out-of-state buyers, from as far away as Jamaica, Malaysia, Thailand and Panama. Online bidders purchased 42 percent of the equipment sold.

More than 1,400 equipment items were sold in the auction, including 55 excavators, 35-plus wheel loaders, 30-plus truck tractors, 25-plus crawler tractors and more. For more information, please visit www.rbauction.com.

Ritchie Bros.’s next auction in Orlando will be its premier global auction, held on February 16 to 20, 2015. As always, the auction will be open to the public and all items will be sold unreserved. The 2014 Orlando February auction featured more than 8,800 equipment items and trucks from more than 830 sellers; generating more than $166 million in gross auction proceeds, including $54 million sold online.
